The US Patent and Trademark office has issued Patent #12601688 "Silver Coordination Polymers for Measuring Arsenic Levels in Water," based on collaborative work between our group and the Bostick group at Columbia's Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory. This invention provides the basis for improved testing of water for arsenic contamination, and was originally developed by former group member Natasha Reich.
